TaxiDriver
Has anyone been before ? Is it worth going for 2 days, possibly camping from the Friday night ? Is there a Travel Lodge or Premier Inn near the show ground ? This might be preferable comfort wise And, comparable price wise as a camping pitch is £40 at the show ground. Blunderbust
Being honest with you, I would say "no" it is not worth going for 2 days. I have been the last 2 years and I have got round it easily in half a day. Deals are as per any show now, non existent. I have decided that I will not even bother going this year, even though it is 15 minutes from the house.
BrowningDJC
I would also say you will get round it in half a day easily, its a nice morning out but as with most game fairs very much the same year after year.
TaxiDriver
Thanks for the reply, I'm not to worried about deals as my budget doesn't really allow for shopping, but as you say not much in the way of real bargains to be had nowadays. I was thinking of the ring displays, where you miss one display in one ring whilst watching something in the other, on the second day you can catch up on the things you missed. I was also just thinking of it as making a weekend away of it. Thanks for the response - Neil

Suffolkngood
There's a Premier Inn just outside show ground gate
fenboy
I have been a few times and as said 1/2 a day is enough really , I think it would be a tad boring trying to stretch it to two , far better to save the pennies and have a couple of days at the CLA gamefair at Harewood house. TaxiDriver
Matt, That's really kind of you - Thank You The show ground isn't where I thought it was if you're only 15mins away. Edit : I don't know why but I imagined the show ground was somewhere North of the city, perhaps I've confused it with the airport. The only reason(s) I was thinking of doing both days was so I could see as many of the in ring displays as I might want, and simply to make a weekend away out of it. ChrisAsh
You need a big big wad if buying food at the show and can be expensive at gate ticket prices of £17 per adult, at least its on a weekend not like the stupid Norfolk show in mid week so most cannot go except those booking a days holiday
