Mutiny
What sort of money are you looking to spend?
Albert 888
Have a look at the sightron s111 8-32x56 lrmoa. It has lines on the crosshairs at 2moa increments at x24. Also has 70 moa of elevation. I have just put one on my howa and at 300m I can see 308 holes in the paper.
welshwarrior
Price plays a big part here but as a general range I'm really impressed with the vortex scopes all the way through the range, been put lots on people rifles recently they all seem very happy and lifetime warranty for piece of mind. I was using it at catton last year. Moved onto a ziess as its lighter and slightly better in low light. But for varminting/target the viper was very good and easily dialled in. Suppose it depends on your budget and intended use to what scope is best.

Dekers
Up to a grand Next to Nobody genuinely needs to spend that sort of money on a scope (for field work) but if you have the cash burning a hole in your pocket why not. The choice is yours, and you have a lot of choice, nobody can tell you what to get, you need to look at the type/quarry/time/ammo/distances/etc of shooting you will be doing. Think about the reticle type, are you dialling in regularly or just shooting off, and don't forget the weight, is this going on a stalking (walking rifle) or are you ambushing, some scopes get real heavy up at that price. Etc., Etc., Good luck!
