sitsinhedges
So how much can you buy the L200's for at the minute?
figgy
Surely they will drop in price again as soon as the new ones hit the forecourts and dealers are desperate to shift old stock. If the past is anything to go by your better off with the outgoing model as new ones tend to be problematic untill the faults are sorted. Harnser
Did you use the BASC discount scheme as part of the deal? No I didn't . I went down the personal rental scheme over 48 months . I don't really want to own the truck so I pay £256 monthly and hand the truck back at the end of the rental. Three rentals up front and away you go .. Harnser So how much can you buy the L200's for at the minute? They vary from about £18,000 to about £26,000 . Harnser

I just sat down with the dealer and we haggled to and fro until I paid the price that suited . Harnser
bakerboy
BASC Discount is organised through BASC and the Dealer. David from BASC put some information up on another thread "New Truck-Happy Boy" Dear All, We have published details about the car offers in Shooting & Conservation magazine. Details of the BASC car offers here: http://basc.org.uk/m...oring-services/ if you log in with your membership number and password, you can see the level of discounts on offer. Alternatively call Nick or Laura at Marford Mill Q&A about the scheme are here: http://basc.org.uk/m...tions-answered/ As the discounts are only for BASC members who have at least 1 year of membership under their belt we cannot say on a public forum how much discount you get....but it is significant, more than you will get by negotiation alone I would wager! I have gone for 10,000 yearly . More than enough for my needs . My present truck is just over five years old and has done 47,000 miles .The excess mileage is 7p per mile .
