FalconFN
First off, sorry about the quality but it is a 120% crop on a 36 mp camera so it ain't an award winner - but I thought it may be of interest to some. I saw it hunting for mice/voles and to have a look at it I squeeked it in to about 70 yards. I didn't have a long lens with me but I took a picture anyway as its right eye seemed to be very swollen and sore. Felt sorry for it really but it seemed to be getting on alright with just one eye. Underdog
If it was dealt a bad blow by a human contact I seriously doubt it would pose for a photograph! I don't want to assume anything negative towards a shooter!
welsh1
A few years ago I shot a fox with one eye, he was fully grown and in good shape,he just had a sealed eye socket,it looked like he had been born that way.Amazing creatures that can adapt quickly. I don't want to assume anything negative towards a shooter! I think you are probably right as it was near to a busy road, only 1/2 mile out of a town and it bounded straight over from more than 200 yards without a care.
