Milo
If it is a mass produced gun I would contact the importers/dealer and see what they advise. They may sell you the parts and suggest a gunsmith to do the fitting or may offer to do it for you. What is the gun in question?

welshwarrior
What grade of timber will have a big impact but unless it's something special a bit more than the gun

Gunman
A lot will depend on the gun .What is it ? Be warned the gun will have to be worth quite a bit to warrant having it stocked and forended . Problem is it costs near as much to sock a cheap gun as it dose an expensive one .
