leadbreakfast
That looks great. Cracking job. How have you secured it to the boot? A well known F1 team principle had a very fancy bit of custom kit made for his car. On a shoot day he graciously invited all Guns for drink at his motor, opened the tailgate and the whole shebang promptly shot out of the back and onto the ground. He was parked on a slope and one of his employees had failed to properly secure the unit when he installed it. The silence was deafening. it is a very snug fit doesn't move abit, just done a hundred mile trip no knocking and no movement 👍Thanks for great reply's

figgy
You might want to add some covered foam filler peices to stop your gun stock for end and barrels from sliding around in the case when driving all the cases I've seen have them or buckled straps to hold them in place, Lovely job. Are you going to line the bottle compartments?
Liamey
I just came across this thread, this looks awesome and very well made. I particularly like the rich look of the leather pull handles. I may have missed it but I did not see a locking mechanism, not that you might need one or even want one, but was just thinking could the design be adapted to have a lock for the drawers hidden underneath the quilted top so as not to spoil the look on the front? Very well done and a great inspiration! Thank you
flycoy
looks brilliant well done, looks like the marine business might have a new section of production, done mine for the dmax last year found the runners the most expensive bit. yours looks lot classier with the dark wood, well done again.
