ditchman Posted April 17, 2016 Report Share Posted April 17, 2016 finished the FLOGGING SPANNER..........found an old bit of bar and as i didnt have a drill bit big enuff i had to grind it down on the old grinder by hand and eye....the fit came out alright so now i wont have to blag the odd socket.......... not a piece of artwork but it will service the job goodly....i bet a lot of the steam engine tools were hand made ... I don't have rubbish brands - all are English, French, German, American or Canadian. I would sooner they were of use to someone than taking up room. ditchman Posted April 20, 2016 Report Share Posted April 20, 2016 managed to get the 2nd tool done for the Landrover today...so i dont need to blag anymore sockets no more..........did a mower service for my mate the other day and he brought round a shed load of stainless steel nuts and bolts and cutting discs ..as i didnt charge him for the service........ hope im not muscling in on your thread vilking....but we all like pics..and they are landrover related.........oh i also did the 2nd tourque on the head today..and it needed it !! thats it ........back to proper landrover building Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
