Big Al
I went out this morning for another flight - the second of the year. There was a no wind and conditions were far from ideal. I was lucky to get 2 gadwall, a mallard and a teal. While editing the clips, I noticed the shot pattern after the trigger was pulled in one clip. First time that's happened so I stuck a still in at the end. I have the new camera now but haven't had time to get tinkering with it so this is still from the chilli sports cam. I took out my old Beretta Sporter for a change and I think I shot better with it. I might stick with it for a while.

misser
very good videos...... as a matter of interest do you only do morning flights on there?.....
Big Al
Thanks for the comments everyone. Very kind. very good videos...... as a matter of interest do you only do morning flights on there?..... It is primarily the morning I shoot due to family and work commitments. It also shoots better in the morning in that spot. You do get ducks in the evening, just not as many. They tend fly in after dark. In NI we are not allowed to moonflight. All shooting must stop an hour after sunset.

rectifier
i was just going to ask when you would be posting another vid, excellent vid again thanks for posting! looks like you had a superb time! Do you have much mud to walk through to get to your spot?
Big Al
Thanks for all the comments. They really are appreciated. Do you have much mud to walk through to get to your spot? Very little. As lough neagh is fresh water it is simply a case of walking across a couple of fields and through some good Irish bog land! The other main place I shoot is on small islands (or flats as they are known locally) so chest waders are essential - as is a decent wading stick. The "knowledge" of wadeable routes between the flats is essential! Edited September 20, 2015 by Big Al
