pigeon controller
As I walked the horse down to the paddock this morning at 09.00 the trees erupted with pigeons and I tried to get a picture with my phone, its best to view on a PC sceen . This field is just on the edge of the conurbation and is the first feeding field out of the city but I'm not allowed to shoot it
Passionforangling
Never mind about that field PC. I'm sure those birds will find their way to the end of your barrels somewhere over the next few weeks!!

JDog
Yes that could mean frustrating times for those in areas where there is a good acorn crop. Can we have those pigeons laid out a bit neater next time?

7daysinaweek
medical condition commonly known as: PIGEONITUS WHAT IS PIGEONITUS: a commuinicable disease which is highly infectious and easily passed from pigeon shooter to pigeon shooter. WHAT ARE THE COMMON SYMPTOMS: frequent parting with one's hard earned wonga for paraphernalia associated with the disease. excess time spent in the pursuit of the pigeon both in the field, reviewing of litrature, frequent use of forums etc in gaining knowledge and sharing experience in relation to the disease. frequent searching for and comments regarding pigeons whilst undertaking other activities unrelated to condition in the presence of non pigeon shooters. eg, whilst driving children, spouse/partner. in extreme cases may go shopping in full camoflage! IS PIGEONITUS TREATABLE: no there is no current know cure for the condition, best management of the condition by spouses/partners and relatives is to allow the affected individual to cope with the disease as their own needs denote as self management is the best option. which means lots more pigeon shooting!
