ShootingEgg
Yesterday was second day on the lpcal shoot, we all arrived at 9 in the water proofs. Got into the modified cubicle shed and got ready to shoot. We got to the first drive around 10am the rain had stopped and all were in high spirits. Then as the first bird took flight the wind picked up and the rain came in sideways.. It made for a great shoot but damn the birds were high and fast, just letting the wind take them. And that was the order of the day.. the few guns we had ( think ive joined a fair weather shoot) only picked off 12 birds but the shots were challenging and the ones that hit their mark were superb shots. We even managed a pigeon at 50-60yds high wind behind him.. Adam

ShootingEgg
Dogs look happy Is the log burner for them The log burner is used to cook our food and keep us warm. It is an old cubicle shed thats not used anymore, we have built seating around the walls and installed the burner. It gets lit at 8 am and the warms a stew whilst we shoot. Then the dogs get to dry off infront of it.

rimfire4969
Some of my favourite days are on shoots like yours. Pigeon looks a bit errrrrrr detached.
