Tried to get in contact with him about a year ago and couldn't get hold of him.

sitsinhedges
Cut-offs are the reject shells from reloading companies, they chop them in half thru the wad so you get the bit with the shot in or the bit with the powder and primer. They used to come in old 20kg powder kegs.
chris1961
I've just bought a drum of reject carts weigh was 68 kilo opens it to find it full of black gold most have just smudged printing fine to shoot the rest are wads upside down great for parts
796
What do you do with the bits then reload them into a new or reclaimed cartridge can you get the primers back out ok unfired
chris1961
It's easy to remove the primers without damaging them I use my mec nice and gently press them out the only.part that isn't used is the hull cheap way to obtain reloading supplies I load the parts into reclaimed hulls from clay ground

chris1961
I've checked the weight with a shop bought one ok to the gram but may still strip them all got 40 kilo of diamond shot so far that has just about payed for the barrel powder wads primers are just freebies now wouldn't mind but just bought 20 kilo from clay and game that was 60 pound only 15 pound less than the barrel me thinks a phone call is in order to try to get another one if possible
