steve_b_wales
Have you tried 100gr SP PRVI Partizan?
mick miller
Hornady are okay, that said my rifle hated anything factory loaded, but they did the job at the time. Shame you don't shoot more as I'd suggest reloading your own using Nosler BTs, I get fantastic expansion with those.
Vince Green
Ammo really is becoming a supply and demand issue these days, Nobody wants to stock it because the wholesalers want cash up front and the dealers are strapped for the readies Have you tried 100gr SP PRVI Partizan? My thoughts exactly, as the OP is in Cumbria thats not so far from Kranks. s Edited November 28, 2015 by Vince Green

jason kaye
The V Max and the SST are not the same, the V max is designed to fragment very rapidly on impact and has a very thin jacket to help this, this is a great bullet for fox, the SST on the other hand has a thicker jacket and an "interlock" ring to hold the bullet together better and is designed to expand in a more controlled way and is a good deer round, but is also ok for fox, but not as explosive as the V max, hope this helps
