pigeon controller
I had a call on Wednesday night informing me that the crows were hitting some growing beans and pulling the shoots out and leaving them on the top of the soil. They were coming in first light then moving off mid morning . So I agreed to hit them first light. I set out at 05.30 and arrived in the dark and it was drizzling with a slight wind from the west so I set up the brollyand covered it with hide and waited for the first customer to appear. I had no decoys confident that they would follow the same pattern and come straight to this field. It was lucky that I was facing east as the first one in came from the back of the hide and I manged to see them against the rising dawn. I had a steady number return after each shot and I ended up with thirty corvids and two pigeon who flew over high but not high enough. I packed up at 11.30 as it had finished by then and had a drive around looking at the rape in that area and found no birds at all the only birds I could find were on the side of the lanes still picking up acorns

JDog
You might shoot more if you got in the hide.
