Dunkield
I am after a muzzle brake for 6.5, does anyone know someone reputable who makes them order? Had a quick search on-line and only saw off the peg stuff this will need to be made to my spec. I can provide all the dimensions and the description of what I want. Dunkield
Just for use with the mod off, so pig shooting abroad. I had multiple rapid shots on the last trip and found since the barrel has been shortened it is a bit whippy to shoot. M14x1 ideally stainless, matte and with radial porting. Medic1281
Possibly contact third eye tactical. Fister will be able to advise better if they will do stuff like this though. There scope rings are excellent quality!
Jaymo
Shame you wanted stainless, otherwise I might have just the thing? Will dig it out and piccy for you anyway when I return from the range tonight. Jay
Dunkield
Stainless is just a preference if it were being made from scratch Jay In the perfect world I would like it to match my barrel - and yes, I know just how tarty that sounds
old_n07
Give James (Jager Sporting Arms) a shout, he made mine for my Remington edit: This is what he made for me, verrrry reasonably priced too Edited December 10, 2015 by old_n07
Jaymo
Just checked the original listing for the gun that it came with and supposedly it's made by Sauer- so not your Mickey Mouse stuff Sorry for the quality of the photo- this was taken from the website/page I purchased it from. Removed it to use a mod instead Jay Edited December 10, 2015 by Jaymo
Dunkield
That is the kind of thing I am after Jay, do you know if that barrel has a spigot or is it threaded up to a shoulder?

Dunkield
So here is the finished item, massive thanks to those who PM'd me to with offers to blast it - this is exactly what these forums are about Just sitting here looking at it makes me want to book a boar shooting trip to try it out Merry Christmas
TIGHTCHOKE
Well I hope it shoots as well as it looks! I shall pass on your thanks to Karl.
Dougy
Looks smart, all you want a now is a good train of Boar running past to see if it make much difference. I can't remember when I've taken shots in those instances and not been able to stay on track so to speak, I took my break once if I remember, didn't like it. Maybe I'll see the results this coming year. ;-)
Dunkield
I had more trains of boar running past me this year than I have ever seen before, and most likely ever will see again Dougy. Did the classic (Stealth Stalker) second shot into a tree, but that was more adrenaline pumping than recoil reaction Drovers thought the shots came from a shotgun I was racking them off so quickly, this can only help in situations like that. And if it doesn't, well it still looks pretty cool
