First of all i would like to thank Terry eccles for putting me onto this unit top man

Me and my mate bought an Archer NV unit thanks to Terry we went up for the first last night with them. when we arrived at the top ground my mate had a scan around and he could see two Fallow grazing in the field we had to cross to get to our high shed so we gave them a wide birth and carried on.

We got set up and waited after about an hour a fallow buck came out and started to feed on one of the bait points so we watched him for a while and then he seemed to get spooky and left then my mate had anouther scan around and said he had seen eye shine in the forest so i got set up put my Archer on and turned on the dragonfly ir which lit up the area we could see a massive sow on one bait point and two 100 lbers close togeather on anouther bait point so we decided to take out the two smaller ounes after a count of three we both shot he hit his and i hit mine so we both christened our Archers togeather he was using a Tikka T3 308 i was using a howa 1500 308 both using 150 grn his home loads

They don't work with Swarovski scopes though.....

So you have tried it then ? Does it not illuminate at all then, or just carp ?

I have thought of using the Archer on my 260 for the longer range stuff  I may try it on a my Sightron and see if its any good :)

What filter do you use it with ? I have the green on mine (i think, I'm colour blind,,, could be red)

I think it's the green but you can see jack **** a bit like the firefly. With the nm800 it works well but as ever you want a bit more and I had been hoping for the dragonfly to improve it a little
