Browning725:)
Hi guys my brother in law has been shooting for 7+ years and has helped me improve my shooting 10fold over the time I've had my sgc but he told me this morning he is thinking of advertising experience shooting days so people that haven't been befor can shoot without a licence at a clay ground etc ......I wanted to say well £50 for 100 clays is cheap why not but I'm unsure of the legality of it all ? Please help me out as I don't want to tell him not to if its perfectly OK
NorfolkAYA
Shooting at a clay ground without a liscense is perfectly legal if you are with a certificate holder 👍

Dannyboy220
Probably need insurance for that I'd have thought? Unless the clay ground is covered? Edited January 4, 2016 by Dannyboy220
fenboy
He would also need the appropriate background checks if he was to coach children and of course his earnings would need to be declared to the tax man .
Browning725:)
I think it would be for 18s+ only buddy and to be honest I'm not sure how much he would charge
TIGHTCHOKE
As long as the ground has a section 11 dispensation and he has cleared it with the ground then he should be okay.
kent
Public liability. Insurers will ask for quals and experience. Wouldn't do it without you could lose everything from something that was not directly of your doing just omission or a bad call

The sensible way forward for him would be to get certificated as an instructor ,good luck with it any way .

welshwarrior
He can offer what he likes but needs to have insurance (most organisations require you to be an instructor) Ground to shoot on with 11.6 exemption
