pavman Posted April 30, 2007 Report Share Posted April 30, 2007 A big thanks due to NTTF our resident dog training guru for all his help to date with the training of my young dog Astra, without his expert guidance from time to time I would not have been able to progress to the standard we have achieved so far. On Sunday we ran against 20 dogs in a Novice cold game working test under kennel club rules, we finished in 5th place just outside the trophies but still managed a certificate of merit. I was really pleased as Astra is only just over 2 years old, we picked all our 7 retrieves which only the 5 dogs managed out of the 20 to start, the average age of runners being 3 ½ to 4 years. It just proves the value of friends on PW many of whom share knowledge with the rest of us and thats what its all about. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
