Computer repair devices me yeah OK what do u want him your computer is slow is turned on me yeah him what does it say on the screen
Me it says **** *** scumbag cos this is a scam
Don't think this creature will be bothering me again

Somedays, when I'm bored, I live for such calls. I try and keep them talking as long as possible (just over 15 minutes is my record) by making up email addresses and fictitious names for myself - putting in won, one or 1 can keep them clicking away for ages trying to work out your details.

Just tell them okay you want it how can you pay ? credit card wait till I get it . Oh I cant find it , it may be in the car let me check Ive had them hanging on for over twenty minutes thinking they where getting money , then hang up my daughter answers the next call minutes later Oh there's no Mr soso here I live alone , yes im sure

 

Never had any for a month after that

 

 

My mate when he gets a call and the accent just says paddy hows it going , of course its you and they hang up

fingers crossed you dont get bothered again . i had this and ended up getting upto 20 calls a day , but by the time you got to the phone they hung up... and BT could do nothing about it .i ended up buying one of these phones that block all these things . good luck

I've had a few of these calls. I know exactly what they're doing and exactly what they're trying to do. So I pretend to be someone who is their perfect victim, except I'm absolutely useless. I play a similar game to yours.

"Oh i'm really sorry, WWW.WWW."

 

"No, just one W"

 

"Ok, W."

 

"Sir, three W's is what you need to type"

If I'm driving somewhere it helps kill the time and hopefully stops someone else from getting scammed by that person.

 

If ANYONE you don't know calls you about your computer running slowly or offering an over the phone fix, ignore it.

Not about computers but I had a similar call a week ago from some guy saying to me that I've had a car crash....

 

"Mate I've only been driving for two years, I've not had a crash at all"

"Oh, has anyone else in the house hold had a crash then?" Lol...

 

"No...?"

 

Anyway had a bit of a rant about him having my details And how annoyed I was that someone somewhere has uploaded them to some database and stated I've had a crash... I told him it was a load of b******* and then Ended up telling him to get a better job!

Anyway he agreed with me haha! He said he hates getting these phone calls himself and told me he will take my details off the system lol

 

I normally just hang up but it actually annoyed me

I get calls like that practically every day, I just say I'm the decorator painting the house and there is nobody else here. If it comes through on my mobile I say its a work phone and I don't pay the bills.
