Ttfjlc
Why does he make a second cut on the other back leg after he threads it through OCD?
srspower
Why does he make a second cut on the other back leg after he threads it through Because that cuts the other legs tendon which makes the legs lock together properly, makes it easier to carry. For me anyway.

srspower
sounds noisey you using subs or high velocity ammo I'm using CCI HP Subs 1050fps. I have a 'wildcat whisper' silencer. It does the job but is far from silent!
Whitebridges
Sounds noisey. With .22 subs all you ought to here is click (the pin hitting the round) and them thud (the target).

Cranfield
That was a good clear video, you obviously take the time to set up angles and edit the clips. I also notch the second leg when "legging" rabbits, my Grandfather taught me and that was 50+ years ago.
Dave-G
First time I've heard about leaving the guts in till the morning - whats the thinking behind that please? I get that done before hanging mine on the rack of my truck boot to cool down quicker.

Well they were still warm as my Dad lives just around the corner from where I shot them. He likes me to leave them in so he can feed them to the ferrets. I don't think they need to wait that long but he couldn't be bothered to do them that night.
Alycidon
I also double hock them, nothing worse than one coming loose when you have 4 in each hand + a rifle. A
