Buko
Hi, I've just purchased a photon xt for use on my new cz455 and I have it on high mounts to give bolt clearance. The problem is there is not enough elevation adjustment in the photon to zero at 50 yards I'm about 2 1/2 inches low!. The gun shop where I purchased said I might have to shim the scope with nylon shims? Any advice from others would help.

remmy1100
me and mate have cz .22 with photon on and we use low mounts no bolt clearance issues but had to put two wraps of tape around scope tube where sits in rear mount to give plenty adjustment works spot on no need for expensive mounts ect
Patrol
I've put a shim on all mine at the back made out of copper that's on weihrauch HW 60 j's 3 of em Never had to touch em once set up, shoots bang on the button on the 222, WMR and LR got the 6.2 on the 222 and the MK 1 XT on the other 2 I'm only guessing, probably the rifle ? as it was on them all and they are all the same make, the MK 1 xt's on the CZ LR and the air rifle didn't need any tweaking at all Good luck with it, I've found my photons worth every penny for the cost of em, I use the pulsar 850 IR on all of them gives a decent clear picture and range The shim material I got from fultons at Bisley Patrol Edited June 24, 2016 by Patrol
