rimfire4969
I have been looking at getting some BF Goodrich A/T KO2 tyres for my Defender. I found this company Tirendo for my tyres x 4 they are about £100 cheaper than anyone else including delivery. Anyone had any dealings with them? robbiep
A company who's only listed address is in Germany, who uses a non-geographic telephone number in the UK, but is dead cheap. I could well be wrong, but 'cheap for a reason' comes to mind.
Stonepark
I tend to use mytyres.co.uk and which tirendo appears to be another sister company, both owned by Delticom AG Never had any problems with mytyres Edited July 13, 2016 by Stonepark
sportsbob
How much does it cost to have them fitted and balanced and then the disposal charge for your old casings sounds to me pretty close £100, even if the saving was £50 would it be worth the hassle. It's entirely possible to have local sounding telephone numbers including 0800 and have your main HQ based abroad, it doesn't mean you'll get any less of a service than companies here and providing you pay by credit card or Paypal you will be protected anyway. When trying to buy some run flat winter tyres a while back I found it impossible to find British companies who could supply anything other than one or two brands neither of which had much in the way of decent reviews so eventually I bought four Pirelli, (the same brand already fitted to the car) online from Oponeo with the instruction that they would be coming from Germany ! Ordered Sunday night, arrived Wed evening and cost 25% less than lesser brands available here (to order), I paid £40 plus VAT to have them fitted. Fitting and such costs me about 1 pint per corner.

Lord O War
Have you tried camskill? they are based up in Workington or Whitehaven I forget which. A mate bough some tryes for his Audi and thought he got a really good deal but when he went to get them fitted he found out he could have got them another £12 a corner cheaper from Camskill! He was kicking himself because it's a site we have both used many times before, but he just forgot about them.
Dan7626
I've used Camskill a few times now and find them hard to beat. Loads of choice for all budgets and fast delivery. As long as you or someone you know can fit them cheap then I'd say that's the way to go.
