marsh man
A touch over 30 degrees just outside King's Lynn today, if there hadn't been a breeze i would have parked the harvester up and gone home! Expect to see barley being combined there this week, they've been out whole cropping Rye beside my field this week Today would have been the hottest day up to now , the breeze was coming off the sea so although it was a bit cooler than North Norfolk it was humid and a bit uncomfortable , not ideal for you manual workers , but we have been waiting long enough for a bit of sun shine and I certainly wont be mumping about it , long may it continue . motty
Well, I now have the choice of a few rape fields and the odd barley field to shoot in the next few days.
Whitebridges
Phew it was warm today. The cut is well underway. Last night a few friends caught 80 odd mackerel of the beach in ideal conditions. We went tonight with a fair bit more easterly in it and caught 9. It's a bit like pigeon shooting !
