wymberley
I was told about the tail end of next week for the barley but the lack of rain has meant it won't ripen any more, it's just getting dryer so started cutting earlier this pm. old'un
Took the wife to Bridgnorth (Shropshire) yesterday Sat 30, on the way there lots of tractors and trailers heading out from farms plus combines in fields, on the way back about 6 o'clock there were loads of fields cut (barley) and pigeons storming in to most, stopped at one field near Farmcote just off the A458 it was blue with pigeons and there were strong flight lines into the field.
