Parrots are brilliant i think its the MK3000 i had was totally hands free you dont scroll or touch it.Even if you have your music on you just say Phone, then for example call Dan.You end the call by either the other person hanging up or you just say end call. They are crystal clear, brilliant bits of kit, apparently a lot of head units like Panasonic ect hsve parrot built in now.I have one in my Jimny and my fird has the Ford sync system which is totally out of this world. You can even hear texts and send them back by speaking & all hand free

Parrots? Do they wear an earpiece and relay the conversations to you? :yahoo:

no earpeice you have a mic located in the headling and the voice in comes through your car speakers

Quick qusetion for any member that has fiited one of these to their own car,

Do you have to buy a "iso-sot-0176-w lead cable adaptor" specific for your type of car, as well as the kit itself.?

Been looking on the bay of plenty & come across these listed along with the Parrot Bluetooth Kits.

Depends you might be lucky depending on car but usually you have to buy one.Parrot website has a tool to find out which one you need by putting in your car or head unit details (if aftermarket). Then just look on ebay for the cheapest. They are a doddle to fit, main time is spent routing it so you cant see any cables.

Edited to add, parrot systems come with quite a bit of cables boxes etc so you will require room around the back of the dash to store it all.The blue box people usually mount behind the glovebox. If room is going to be an issue it may be better just to buy a aftermarket head unit that uses parrot blue tooth system within the head unit.

No bother mate,i had three of the Parrot systems, the Mki9200 @ £145 which was the top system but has a seperate screen to the control unit. The CK3000 @ £100 ( didnt like as no lcd screen)but for me the best is the CK3100 and you can pick it up for around £70 and has lcd screen in the unit.

Look on youtube at the operating capabilities but for me personaly the CK3100 is brill & totally hands free.
