hedge hunter
Hi guys, does anybody have any experience of this company mcavoy gunsmiths. I am thinking of ordering a gun from them and having it sent to my local rfd. But never having done this before and it not local I'm a bit hesitant to send money to them. Any feed back appreciated, cheers HH https://m.facebook.c....com/index.html

rec-baller
Hi m8. I'm about a mile off macavoys shop, I use it a fair bit for bits & pieces , if you want any info ring up and ask for Craig and say Shaun from Berrys "that's me " has recommended him , Craig is a mate of mine and will look after you , if you want me to go and look at anything let me know and I'll nip up Shaun

Royboy
I don't use them that often because Bamfords is closer but when I have used them they have been great. Some good stuff in there and all 👍

Sean Richo
Been OK with me bought a mk60(second hand) it double discharged a couple of times I took it back they had it two weeks got it back first time out did the same again I took it back said I wasn't happy as this is twice its happened they said ok and gave me full refund and I bought a brand new 525 off them instead. They seem ok but trade in prices poor much prefer Bamfords as I think they give better value but Mckavoys are fair and reputable you won't have a problem but not the cheapest.Best of luck. Gordon R
Bamfords give better trade in than McAvoys and Malmo are even better.
The_Engineer
Always helpful and friendly in McAvoys.
robbiep
I've used McAvoy's in the past for reloading supplies, very helpful. Always seems to be very busy in there too.
hedge hunter
Thanks for all your help guys. After chatting to them I'm very happy to use them. Now just to find a local rfd who is willing to transfer a brand new gun.
steve_b_wales
Thanks for all your help guys. After chatting to them I'm very happy to use them. Now just to find a local rfd who is willing to transfer a brand new gun. As mentioned to you via PM, contact John Heron in Merthyr, trading as J H Arms. He'll do the transfer for you, irrespective if the gun is old or new. And he doesn't charge the earth either.
