not a bad weekend

I was out Saturday, came across a very strong flightline over a railway track then crossing over a field of standing barley so couldn't shoot directly under it had to go to one side 100 yards off it I tried to pull some birds off the line using the rotary but with little success I managed 18, but it was a non stop flight of birds over that standing barley field which I have permission to shoot on very frustrating no pic for these

yesterday had another look round I kept it local all weekend to be honest just to snatch a few hours here and there I set up on a barley stubble at 4pm shot till 6.30pm finished with 36

today I was going to go clay shooting but couldn't resist having another look round before I went, came across another promising looking field with a nice flightline coming into it so thought I,ll not bother with the clays and have a go on here instead got set up by 2pm shot till 6pm had 62 on the clicker picked 56 so around 110 for the weekend can't moan at that

As already said most of us would be happy with what you and your lady friend managed to get over the weekend , so a very well done on your bag and your perseverance .

Apart from a few Bean fields which are now out of bounds most of our shooting has come to a standstill as the cultivators are on the cereal stubbles getting ready for next years crop and what pigeons are about are scattered far and wide.
