cheers mark & dazza, lot more practicle that the 90 :o i'm sure it boils down to personel preferance, but i've tried and looked hard to see what all the fuss is about with landrover, and there's nothing that stands out, exept the price, time, and maintance to keep and landrover on the road.

keep ya rust buckets :good: but if i ever get stuck :stupid: gis a tug

this is mine, great tools for shooting, not the easiest to shoot out of with a rifle while lamping though, I've a frame sits on the sunroof and you stand on the passenger seat. With a shottie the same position is awesome lovely and high and the roof holds you in well

anyone who owns a TDX theres a roof rack on ebay which is very cheap at the minute, there also like hens teeth. last one i saw went for 233 xmas day.

you have to cut them to remove the sunroof though as I've found out :stupid:

Shoot of the wing mirror, they have the best position for shooting of that I have used just wedge something soft between the mirror and the door frame to rest on ( I use half a kitchen roll :good: )

You didn't need the helper springs for the horse box then Decroyffe ?

LB

hiya LB, didn't need the heavy duty springs for the box, looked at the technical spec in the manual, and it states 3500kg breaked towing capacity  Quite a bit of gerth in the low end of the box so i'll see how it go's.

its fine if you don't have much to shoot at but for rabbiting its a bit tricky as the driver is the only one sitting right and that means passing the rifle in and out more than I like. Still the frame on the roof works pretty well.

On the other note you shouldn't need helper springs with the horsebox, mine tows an Ifor fine though I have upgraded the rear springs. Milner off road are great for most fourtrack spares
