oowee
I have this jacket and its particularly poor. Never been waterproof. I have re proofed it three times to no avail. Now bought a shooter king which is simply great.
Bungle The Bear
I am afraid Seeland = Poor quality, save your money, there are loads of far better options available
del.gue
I have the gamekeeper jacket. Its ok...but the quality is a bit flimsey. Although waterproof so far its not been tested in heavy rain but i dont rate its chances. Wont buy another from Seeland. In fact I have just bought a Deerhunter Montana and very happy with it. Sussex gardener
Thanks for the replies, you have talked me out of the seeland brand and I have got myself a Musto keepers. I think the old saying of "getting what you pay for" rings true.
kyska
Seeland were very good at one point, not so now. I've just bought a new deerhunter jacket and first impressions are very good.
browning123
Surprised at these comments - I have owned a Seeland Keeper jacket for about 5 years and have been very happy with it, and have used it on all my driven days, sometimes when the rain had been lashing down, but never leaked and kept me warm all day. My older seeland stuff is great, like yours, newer stuff is debatable

chesterse
I have a Woodcock jacket which I bought 2 years ago. I'm very happy with it. Have been out in torrential rain several times and has never let a drop through. The fit for me is good too, to the point that I often clay shoot in it in the winter. The only slight problem I have with it is the zip is sometimes a bit tricky to start off.
Andra
Thanks for the replies, you have talked me out of the seeland brand and I have got myself a Musto keepers. I think the old saying of "getting what you pay for" rings true. Good choice they are as rugged a jacket as you'll get and very waterproof. Compared to other jackets I have had in past the keepers is a very warm jacket also, needed up here! I do have a seeland softshell right enough I use it more for fishing its about 6 years old and it aint to bad takes a fair bit of rain for it to soak through.
