John Maiden
Do you remember Mick being all over the news in September ? He has been in custody awaiting trial. Have a look at www.micks-guns.com Mick's daughter Connie says things are looking good and has temporarily adapted the website to keep everyone up to date on quote "The trial of the innocent" Should be interesting, there is a guest book too for those that wish to give support. This link is not to advertise guns, there are none there at present
Mungler
John, There's ****** all on the website, but I would guess that the family can't say anything because the case is ex judica. What's this all about in a nutshell? All that time on remand if you've done nothing wrong - a nightmare to say the least. Would send most over the edge. Cranfield
This is going to be a very interesting case. On the face of it, he appears to be innocent, but the Police must be pretty confident, or why have they kept him in custody for so long ? Mungler
It has the stamp of operation Trident on it.
pin
Which given he's not black, or threatened or shot anyone who's black with a gun, is odd. If that sounds racist, perhaps the person finding it so should ask the met what they thought they were trying to do
beatingisbest
why is he in court?

digger
He has been kept in custody for so long because he is an easy one to keep. Bang him up, fabricate a case and whallop a massive result for operation trident. The headlines are ready and waiting from the met police, they will ignore the growing gun culture on city streets and use this guy as a scapegoat mark my words. Operation Trident should be renamed " ooh look a black youth in a hoodie, lets not upset him / we are too politically correct to approach him, lets go back to the canteen and search the web for real crims " And voila, lets not upset the " gangstas " ( I bet the Krays are spinning in their graves ) but go for someone who is well known. And dont forget the police class air guns as fire arms every time they sieze one. Give me blody strength
dunganick
he's a good man. Ive shot with him and he is a regular face at hawley gun club and a cracking skeet shot.
Cranfield
I think most of the shooters in Kent have met him and thats what makes this whole thing so unbelievable. He seems a very responsible chap around guns and a very knowledgeable collector. This whole episode could cost the Police a lot of money. palombier
Digger Look at what Mike Shepherd has been charged with and then reflect on your ridiculous post. Operation Trident has a very good record at solving black on black murders. Read between the lines and work it out for yourself. P
John Maiden
The original charge was conspiracy to illegally supply firearms or ammunition. As far as I can see (allegedly) he only made a statement of fact. Two undercover cops bought obsolete calibre fireams of him, they wanted ammunition, he (allegedly) told them the ammunition was by it's nature obsolete and no longer available, but they could buy most of the equipment and components without a licence. A statement of fact one may say. This is what I have heard, albeit from a good source. Let's hear from both sides as it comes out. May justice be done. If that's true, what a load of **** this case is. Obsolete calibres are perfectly legal off ticket, aswell as the bullet heads, cases (if needed) etc. It's only when all the above are put together and used off ticket that a law is broken, and that's not down to the guy selling the components. Wookie
Sounds like you _could_ say that they were trying to trap him just by asking about getting ammunition for it. Hell, most RFDs are helpful people and if they had just spent money with him, then most people would probably have said the same thing. The whole thing sounds a bit dodgy to me... Highlander
Is he on remand for crimes against fashion? I've been on his web site but to be serious for a moment (why you might ask ) there's very rarely smoke without fire so rather than pronounce the man innocent/guilty on here we should all wait for the legal result... and then moan
