Highlandladdie
Who's in your starting 15 for the test? I know its early days but, just a bit of fun! 15.Hogg 14.Williams 11.Watson 13.Henshaw 12.Farrel 10.Sexton 9.Murray 1.Vunipola 2.Best 3.WP Nel 4.Itoje 5.Gray 6.CJ Stander 8.Heaslip 7.Tipuric Would love to have AW Jones in there too but just no space, and I think Itoje and Gray are playing better. Heaslip in there as I would have had Vunipola at 8 but I think he is injured? Faletau is ace, but on balance I think I'd plump for Heaslip. Pushed Henshaw out to 13. Farrel at 12 and Sexton at 10 gives options, maybe best of both worlds?
AVB
Just put the England team in 1-15. Keep a couple of the bench warmer slots for a couple of Welsh and Irish players.

Maybe the Lions are an out of date idea then? Lots of people saying whats the point. Mind you with regard to your selection, that England team hasn't beaten the All Blacks.......unlike Ireland. NickS
The ABs can sometimes be beaten once but not usually twice in a row. They are like a nasty little rash that finds a way of becoming immune to whatever was used to treat it last time! They are certainly THE team to beat and I hope the Lions enjoy at least one victory against them.

I'm looking forward to it! That England team haven't played the All Blacks. 10/10 😂

You won't do any worse as Gatland!
Aled
Not a bad team at all, and if that's the team that plays in the first test, you will not hear any complaints from me. However we have a 6 Nations coming up and some of the best players will (sadly) pick up injuries and others will really come to the fore, so a lot to see enjoy a savour over the next few months. Cheers Aled

The last tour of NZ was a bit of a bonus holiday for the 03 WC winners, and a bit of a let down.

Was disappointed when Vunipola got injured. He was a shoe in for no.8 Looking forward to see if the Welsh can sort themselves out, and if Scotland can finally gain some momentum. I've only been waiting 18 years 😂 Edited January 17, 2017 by Highlandladdie

Who is in your 15 then?! Edited January 17, 2017 by Highlandladdie
figgy
Its finding the players who can gel into a team and compliment each others talent. Cant wait for the games to begin.

Who is in your 15 then?! I think we will have the French. I know they have been quietly regrouping and doing some restructuring, but we are an established/settled side with hunger. Been doing my nut trying to come up with a team, I don't think I can better yours to be honest. I can see only 1 potential change to yours - bringing Seymour in at 11 for Watson (but I like Watson, alot) because Seymour is the Pro12 top try scorer, that has to count for something. chrisjpainter
It's going to be a pretty decent side. If anyone is good enough to displace an England player, then w're in fine shape for sure! Anyone tempted to take Tuilagi? When he's fit, he's an absolute wrecking ball through the middle like no one in the Lions potential set up is. He also knows what it's like to beat a AB side at its own game, so that experience could be invaluable. Even if he's had little to no game time, he'd be in my team, purely because he offers something totally different in the Centre Edited January 17, 2017 by chrisjpainter
