Davyo
As topic since I stopped shooting I still visit this forum but mainly for the motoring section ,stopped looking on the 'other topic' section as it's full of 'we're doomed I tell thee'types or just topics that end up with racist comments. Anyhow any good motoring forums out there for mixed motors not just a forum for one manufacturer. Edited February 21, 2017 by Davyo

LowStandards
Pistonheads is fine if all you want is people telling you there particular BMW is better than your particular BMW It's a very open question really, what sort of car do you want to view, I don't mean make, I mean like retro, classic, ****ty BMW, etc etc

I already am member on the Ford Forum as wife has a modified eco boost Fiesta. Also on the Citroen Forum (as have a C3 Picaaso for fishing) and i find handy for finding how to fix problems ect. But generally like all cars, old and new, may even be thinking of buying a project car in the spring like a mx5, MGTF (as long as its had the head gasket done proper) or a MR2. LowStandards
Single make forums are dead handy for problem finding, but damn they are normally dull and the ones I frequent (classics) tend to hate you if you want to modify... I suggest everyone takes a look at http://retrorides.proboards.com because it's a community of folks who don't care what car you have as long as you make it interesting... (well, it's gotta be older than 2000ish really)
Pistol p
Drive tribe, pistonheads forums, rollhard, finaldrive, secck.co.uk, retrorides. I'll try to think of some more.
figgy
Davyo out of the three you mention the MX5 has plenty of aftermarket and modifying stuff for them also a race series. Turbo charging the engines is a good modification, gives the car a bit more grunt out of corners. MR2 is quite expensive to modify, the MGTF I wouldn't even consider but they do have a following. Dazza9t9
I'm currently rebuilding a mx5 and the mx5nutz forum is very good and friendly As a side note, I've previously owned a mr2 and it was a pig to work on due to engine location. The mx5 has been lovely and plenty of cheap parts around
Vince Green
I use the MB Owners forum a lot for technical stuff but its not a social forum. The other car forums I have seen are either specialist enthusiasts or out and out boy racers Edited March 9, 2017 by Vince Green
