martindd
Bought myself some Karrimor SF boots which I'm impressed with and I want to try and look after them, previous boots died a death falling apart at seams (not good quality boots) What do folks recommend to keep leather supple without affecting goretex lining? Used Nikwax cream on old boots, leaflet with boots recommend fluorocarbon based impregnation and wax based cream... Cheers Martin

psycho
Ledergris is the only Polish recomended by altberg and it was found by them after testing others http://www.altberg.co.uk/leder-gris/history-of-leder-gris/ It is superb on leather water just beads off and it feeds the leather to prevent cracking. it will not effect the gore text lining as altberg use sympatex on there boots which is a similar material http://www.altberg.co.uk/leder-gris/product/leder-gris-original/ I have always used it on my gamekeeper boots and I can stand in water for 20 minutes with no seepage.the water then just beads off.it is that good and due to the feeding of the leather after 4 years and a resole the boots still look new.I use it after every outing....recommended Edited March 3, 2017 by psycho

Uncle Albert
I use Neatsfoot oil from a tack shop. It's used for bridles and saddles. Excellent stuff especially coupled with Leather food, same source.
