Robatron3000
...Well, I'm at the very top of Hucknall that borders Papplewick village. Anyone from around this area???I shoot air rifles and have done so since I was about 13 years old - I used to do competitions back in the days when I was in the St. John Ambulance and I took much enjoyment beating the Mansfield Army Cadets at their own game I now shoot mostly on my bothers "in-laws" farm (When I can be bothered as it is miles away!), my back yard and sometimes (and I really do mean "sometimes") at some local ranges like Woodend farm.Anyway, I've just finished off the last of my Homemade Pigeon Curry... (Yum!) and I hope to chat with you all here on PW.All the best, Rob. Edited March 13, 2017 by Robatron3000

Robatron3000
Welcome to the forum from just over the border. You can't be far from castle ftc? Thanks all. Hi labstaff. Yes, I'm not too far from there. Thought about taking a look at the club last year but FT shooting all looks very serious and technical stuff to me
labstaff
FT is pretty technical and pretty expensive if you get into it but castle is a good club. Codnor club at Dale Abbey is more relaxed and more for plinking and is also a good club.

Rewulf
Welcome. You can still plink at Castle, there is a zero/ plinking range ,besides the FT course. Membership is very reasonable, and there are some very knowledgeable people there.
