ernyha
Made the postman empty his sack in the street but mine wasn't in it. Bloody marvelous isn't it, i nip out for a quick half to drown my sorrows and when i return there is a card pushed through my door saying "Sorry we missed you". Now i have got to arrange to pick the parcel up myself !

Deako
lol @ Ern!...soon have yours mate. Glad everyone is happy with them...wait till you see the timer units, virtually indestructable and almost as small as a 1p piece!! Sorry about the wait, but shouldn't be long now. Browning
Can anyone advise if a standard car battery charger will be OK for the 12Volt 1.2Ah battery supplied with the flapper ? If not has anyone any advice ? Cheers, Browning
Cranfield
Deako, I might have a couple of those 1p timers. Browning, I will use my rotary battery recharger, I don,t know whether a car battery charger is OK, or not. Someone with tech knowledge will respond. ernyha
Browning it depends what you mean by a "standard charger" as some put out a bigger charge rate than others. For the sealed low ampage batteries i bought a cheap car battery charger that only gives a low output .(4 amp max rating which it never reaches.) Takes forever to charge a car battery but is great on the small ones.
tiercel
For a sealed battery you should not exede .9 amps or 900 mili amps.
