fortune
is the gun already threaded to take a mod? If it is, what thread is it?

beanieboy
I have a Wildcat Evolution on my 223. Performs really well, but I find it heavy on the end of my CZ527 American. I was led to believe this was a relatively light Mod...hate to see a heavy one if that's the case! Nice design though and easy to strip and clean. DAMON777
I've got a hausken moderator on my. 223. They are cheap but built very well. Think I paid £130.00 for mine.
Nfinlay22
Dpt moderator on my steyr. Very light and good sound reduction. You also can add more baffles if necessary which is good
Dougy
If your shooting Loads through it then I would tend to steer away from ally.

Jonno243
I just chopped in my T8 (effective, but heavy) for a Lawrence Precision titanium job. I don't think I could ever go back to an alu or steel unit again. It is whisper quiet, ridiculously light, bombproof, and to be quite honest simply beautiful. LeadWasp
If your shooting Loads through it then I would tend to steer away from ally. - but there are aluminiums and then there are aluminiums. Some offer mods and name their amazing alloys which are actually Edwardian formulations...... Pick the right alloy and the right design and it will be OK, the only reason to discount aluminium is if you shoot at a rate that will also accelerate damage to your rifle over the same time. Given stainless' and titanium's relatively poor heat conduction an aluminium is a good choice from a thermo/fluids perspective. Releasing that much energy, from a single cartridge, in such a short space of time is hard on any material regardless. boo
Using a Stalon on my sako 204 varmint, came with the rifle does the job, but if buying separate would consider a caliber specific one , off Dave Mercer DM80 , £160 ish carnt fault daves work.
