Lloyd90
Just curious, When changing powder charge when adjusting a load, would you expect this to have much of an impact on zero at 100yds? Or might it just tighen or open up the grouping? Same question but in regard to seating depth? I imagine the different would be minimal? Thanks Lloyd
steve_b_wales
You would have to try it yourself. When I reloaded my .243, I found that .3 to .5 of a grain made no difference to accuracy. But when I reloaded my .204 it altered zero slightly, and more so with my 22 Hornet. Bullet depths remained the same for all calibres so I can't comment on that. zx10mike
i don't find seat depth does this but powder charge often does.normally .50 max
Hendrix's rifle
From 26 to 26.4 grains the impact is the same however when adjusting seating depth it does change marginally (it did for me anyway)

Dougy
Doubtful you would notice much difference at 100 yds, take it out to 300 + and I think you will start to see differences in point of impact.

Not rocket science I know, but it seems to work for me. I've never gone .2 /.3/ .4 etc for the .243. I usually find that the min' weight works well in my rifle. All my ammunition is 100gr, but I am about to try and develop some with 55gr and 70gr.

Vince Green
Anything you change will affect the POI, its not always noticeable but theoretically a small change will have taken place. The further you reach the more noticeable it will be.
Lloyd90
The powder charge I have at the moment is about 37.5gr. I think the maximum load is 44-45gr. Any recommendations for loads?
