Can't tell you which LP it's from but it's definitely Derek and Clive.

Edit: The track is "Jump" from the 1976 album "Live"

[ from the album "(Live)" (1976) ]

DEREK: (plays piano and sings:)

#As I was walking down the street one day

I saw a house on fire

There was man, shouting and screaming at an upper-storey window

To the crowd that was gathered there below

For he was sore afraid

#Jump! You ******, jump!

Jump into this here blanket what we are holding

And you will be all right

He jumped, hit the deck, broke his ******* neck -

There was no blanket

#Laugh?! We nearly ****!

We had not laughed so much since Grandma died

Or Auntie Mabel caught her left tit in the mangle

We are miserable sinners

Fi-i-ilthy *******

#Ahhhrrrr-soles

what wouĺd the lenght i have a good lathe but would depend on lenght.

The rollers are twenty and a half inch in old money. I may have an easy get out, someone has told me of a company close by that stocks round fence posts. I will take a look tomorrow and if they have been turned it may be a cheap get out. The rollers havnt got to function, they will be purely cosmetic. I am not to bothered what timber they are, I am 74, if i make them from balsa they will probably see me out :lol: . Joking aside, i am renovating it as it was my mothers and my eldest daughter wants it. Thanks for the offer johnphilip and thank you boys for your input. Will put some pics up tomorrow.

Got me self a fence post this morning, as it was a 5 inch diameter one it was 9 foot long, not to worry i can make lots of mistakes in the measuring and cutting  And before you lot tell me it has splits in it, as i have said before, i no longer buy green bananas  .

Lets get on, I cut 2 rollers the length i wanted. The original rollers had the shafts right through. I have cut these shafts and am using the ends. My plan is to make some 5 inch discs out of 3mm plate, screw them to the rollers and then weld the ends of the shafts to the plates, well thats the plan.
