Silver pig
I have ran out of space on my certificate and have seen a shotgun I would like to buy, what are the rules for writing outside of the box? Gun maybe sold if I send my cert off and wait for it to come back with additional space.

Wingman
Ask your firearms department to send you a continuation sheet.
Guest stevo
Lincolnshire would not let me. Had to send it back and they put a new sheet on. This was last year with a one week turn around and a fee of £2. Job done

walt1980
Just had the same thing, Suffolk said no don't use a separate bit of paper, it's not your licence!! Send it in, they issue a new one for free with some lovely empty boxes to fill up! I'd filled a a separate bit of paper in before and they weren't happy but let it go. Guest stevo
Ah - you LOST your certificate?? That explains the £4 fee for a REPLACEMENT No it was full up , so there print out a complete new SGC hence the replacement and so a charge of £4.
saddler
Someone is mixing up a re-print with a replacement = the first is a freebie, the latter when the certificate is lost is £4 NEVER been charged a penny for a reprint in over 30 years, but never been under Lincs! Wingman
Shows you how inconsistent firearms licensing procedures are. TVP sent me a continuation sheet for free and told me to simply attach to my current license.
