Suggestions appreciated, I have a red LED light already but it's not bright enough.

I would like to shoot out to 100M, maybe a little more but need a lamp that will reach.

How about a ludicrous lumens for example? If so which one?

Which red LED light do you already have?

hello, dont forget the new TR torches from ludicrous lumins, i am sure same type as the Evo like the 38, how is the new AS-X different Dave G ? just think back a few years to when we had the 501 Bs. i can get 250 yards with my red 38 TR using a 2 X doubler

I have a red T20 + 2x doubler that is better than an EVO 67 or EVO 75 or the ones with a fancy heavy lens... PB something IIRC. :good:

The AS-X is probably run at higher current + better LED star board and heat transfer - by memory without going to the site to check again.

What thread OPP?

hello dave, they are 37mm OD but not sure of thread size and about 48mm OD front glass but i do not use the thread as they fit inside the 38 bevel as near perfect then i use black sparky tape to hold it on tight. i got 2 off Aliexpress and one off ebay, i have seen larger NEEWERs that could fit other T or Evo torches, if you google Neewer 2 X Doubler Lenses some on amazon. cheers

I run NV and a Deben Mini and Max and torches.

This is on my HMR, the torch cost about £3.50 on Ebay (you will need a mount and battery), no problem with 100 yards, ok to about 130 yards, but I wouldn't go all that much further with it.

Picture is heavily cropped to hopefully avoid offending anyone, but this outing it dealt with 5 foxes.

hello, just refitted the doubler on my red pil TR 38 and it make a far better uniformed beam any one contemplating a T or Evo torch 38 or 50 would do well to try one.

Can any one help with the pros and cons between Evo 50, 67 and 75 please?

Smaller aspheric lenses IE 50mm has a wider beam that doesn't penetrate as far as a tighter more concentrated 75mm lens.

All will zoom to a wider less intense directeable flood light.

They all have the same battery and LED configuration if comparing the same torch with different head sizes.

Thanks Dave, so if I was looking for a genuine 150M in Red which picked out shape rather than eye shine which do you think would work?
