I had set up my trial camera on some fat balls as they've been going fast, left the camera in place until the balls had gone, problem was in the first day i had 300 odd pictures and a 100 videos of birds, then no more as the camera was full, try again ? Pigeon Shredder.
Posh, no mate, affordable yes, on a pension ?. Squizzers were on the 9th ripping into a large oak, the acorns are massive around here this year, also baiting them with walnuts. Also none seen in or around the garden this week. Walker570
Had an influx and killed seven last week. I know of one more which evaded me and escaped over my boundary, but things have gone quiet again.

I was expecting this, thought there would be quite a few about but although we have had a few youngsters were hardly seeing anything, feeders untouched and the few we do see are up in the canopy out of the way. Pigeon Shredder.
As of now we need another 629 to beat last years total of 1881. Eyes on the trees everyone.
Longbower
I haven't had any for a fortnight or more . The nuts on the feeders are being taken by the Nuthatches, not squirrels . But they are up there in the treetops. And shortly when the leaves start to fall , so will the squirrels.

Walker570
If everyone was doing that the target would easily be passed We just have to keep hitting'em where we can. Birds being released now so pheasant feeders will be my main target.

Had to go and see the head gardener at the golf course lunch time (only time l see him to catch up on shooting matters) and the road way in was awash with squizzers and magpies, and l didn't have as much as a catapult on me ? Be out with the TX200 this weekend at the same time though. ?
Longbower
In our woods (Archery Club) we were setting out the course for this weekends competition, and it was literally 'raining' beech nut kernels . When all my fellow members had gone home , I checked the zero on my Ruger 10/22,, and waited underneath the trees until they came to the floor. One actually fell to the floor in front of me. Bagged 5 in an hour.😎 Edited September 8, 2018 by Longbower grammar
