If so, what are they like, only I was thinking of getting one, probably two to three years old. Have they been out long enough to give any indication of long term problems ? Thanks for any replies and apologies for not sticking to the original post. OB A neighbour bought a Duster several years back, they don't use it off road but it has exceeded my initial expectations and they are very pleased with it. A bit basic and plastic but the impression is that its quite robust.
Tim Kelly
I was in France in the spring and the Dacia Duster seemed to be the most popular car down there. Seemed to have taken over from Renault 4 and Citroen 2CVs as the car of the people.
Aled
I have a Dacia Duster car and I'm very pleased with it. MY off road driving is not serious though, on forestry and farm tracks only. Cheers Aled

figgy
I looked at the Dacia Duster as our new run about, soon to have grandchild so nanna needs suitable wheels for pram etc. The new model looks very nice due in summer. Test drove one four years old with 33k on clock, surprised by how well it drove, plastics are cheap but the car was built to be cheap and cheerful and it does it well. The floor pan and 4x4 system is from the older Nissan X Trail according to the salesman. The price for the 4x4 out going top spec model with rear camera and metallic paint was hitting 17k on the road. That puts it in nearly new Renault Kadjar/Qashqai or Kia range.
