new to the flock
Okay I have some photos up in this section that some people are saying they can not see. They have been posted the same as always and are jpeg format. Let me know if you see this one or if we are having a picture problem again. Although I have been able to see all photos fine including my own.

new to the flock
Thanks Folks....Pin is working on the dissappearing link problem NTTF
pin
This looks to be a different problem to the disappearing attachments. The HTML in this post is all ****** up :- <a href="http://forums.pigeonwatch.co.uk/forums/index.php?act=attach&type=post&id=11576" title="Download attachment" target="_blank">Img_0637.jpg</a> ( 40.29k ) <span class="desc">Number of downloads: 0</span><br /><br /><br /> There is no target for the attachment, although it seems the board knew about "Img_0637.jpg" it has to have gotten this from the upload function but seems to have completely forgotten to link it. The target for that should be http://forums.pigeonwatch.co.uk/forums/upl...-1183054907.jpg The download counter is also just printed, there is no way that could update dynamically at all, it would always be 0 no matter how many downloads. new to the flock
Okay but why can the mods see the pictures? NTTF
pin
I don't know enough about IPB but I think the mods can view attachments by ID and normal users can't. As a test click on this link here http://forums.pigeonwatch.co.uk/forums/ind...st&id=11576 If it displays a picture then I think I am right, normal (non mod) users won't have permission to view other peoples attachments like this. Cranfield
We thought this problem had been resolved, but it does seem to be intermittent. I will send a link to these threads to Teal and see if he can unravel it again.
