Ricko
Hi, I left my lovely ancient Frontera parked in the sun yesterday and the rear view mirror has dropped off. Reminds me of this happening with my Ford Orion in the early 90s! Whats the best fix? Remove the old pad, degrease with meths and refit with new adhesive pad?? or is there a better way. your comments and thoughts are welcome. amateur
I've used clear silicone sealant in the past to attach stuff to the inside of my screen - never budged.
Harnser
The last time it happened to me ,I put super glue on the pad still on the screen and pressed the mirror back on . Never moved . harnser
wymberley
If the pad is no longer attached to the 'screen, try Glass Glue which I'm pretty sure was originally called Glass Bond.

Lord O War
A couple of glass nails should do it but remember to use a rubber mallet or you will break them.
