AVB
Any suggestions on the best place to sell my 110? I work abroad most of the time and having it sitting on the drive isn’t doing it any good. Just spent £1,000 on service and getting it through MOT. Ebay was suggested but I can’t be bothered with all of the dodgy buyers out there. Edited June 30, 2018 by AVB

Jaymo
Try it on here? Age and price etc might allude to some offers? Failing that, wasn’t there someone who used to be here who claimed to have bought one when maybe they hadn’t- this time they could have one for real ? Scully
Not sure if there is a ‘best’ place really. I’ve considered buying from an established specialist dealer in LRO on several occasions, as private is a minefield; even some of the so called dealers turn out to be shysters in my experience. There’s nothing more off putting than a seller telling you not to forget your money! ? I bought my 110 through an established dealer last December and sold my SIII hybrid earlier this month ( for £250 more than I paid for it five years ago! ) and I genuinely think it was my blatant and blunt honesty which swung the sale. I didn’t dress it up to be something it wasn’t; describing all its bad points as well as it’s good points, to the point I suggested a FL2 TD4 or Disco 2 TD5 might be a better buy for him. But he wanted it. Wherever you decide to go ( and I’m not suggesting you’re dishonest ) my over riding advice would be to just be bluntly honest. I think it goes a long way in establishing trust. Good luck.
al4x
They are making good money at brightwells and though not near to you it’s the easiest way to get rid at auction with no come back and no messing arround you get privately or on eBay etc Edited June 30, 2018 by al4x
bostonmick
It's a bit of a nightmare selling these days. With all the dreamers and scammers out there. I will say that land rovers do seem to attract more than a few. Advertise one for say 14k and be sure you will get the I will give you 8 brigade arrive to waste a day for you. I like you have one sitting doing nothing. Although I would like to sell I just can't be bothered with all the messers and dreamers out there. Maybe if you have a local dealer near you that could sell it for you on a commission basis might be a idea.

I think through a dealers on commission is the best way. I’ll have a chat with the guys who do the work on it, CSK in Hoddesdon, Herts if anybody knows them.
