Whitester
We are mentioning poachers but the deer were left where they were shot. I can understand a poacher loosing the odd deer in the darkness but why would you shoot and leave 15???

They were arrested on Friday on suspicion of offences under the Deer Act. They have been released under investigation while inquiries continue. Someone as obviously shopped them, but it might be difficult to prosecute them without evidence, I can imagine the interview was full of “no comment” ……. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-hereford-worcester-45500517

Of course we are presuming they are the shooters and not just the handlers of the deer. As you say details are a little sketchy at this time, lets hope they get named and shamed, if found guilty. "A 59-year-old man, from Highley, Bridgnorth, a 35-year-old man from Cleobury Mortimer, and a 22 year-old-man from Kidderminster were arrested on suspicion of offences under the Deer Act." A spokesman for West Mercia Police said: "Around 20 officers, staff from the firearms licensing department and partners from environmental health and the food standards agency worked together to conduct early morning arrests of three males on suspicion of offences under the Deer Act.
