Walker570
Many moons ago you could get a catcher for the Remmy 1100 model, like a small bag which I would say would retain five or more shells with ease. Try going on Shooters Forum in the USA as there maybe someone over there who could locate one. That is where I saw them. I have never seen one here either for purchase or in use. Alycidon
Problem is you dont know when you have had a fail to feed until you pull the trigger next time. And then you have to remove the catcher to clear the jam, an unneccessary hinderance in my book. A

Harnser
An old fowler I used to shoot with had a piece of fence wire bent round the receiver of his Remmy 1100 that deflected the cases on to the ground beside him . He had it adjusted so that the cases hit the piece of wire as they were ejected . harnser

Newbie to this
I have one of these for the 22 semi, it works quite well. https://www.brownells.co.uk/Caldwell-AR-15-BRASS-CATCHER-CALDWELL-SHOOTING-SUPPLIES-Black-100014066 I think it would fit a shotgun, the opening is about 2 inches by 5 inches and it just wraps around the action with velcro.
