figgy
If that’s exactly what has happened it’s disgusting, can understand the police asking pertinent questions over his guns. Hopefully putting lots of effort into apprehending and dealing with this scumbag.
countryman
I can see some people who have tackled a thief on there're property not reporting it if the thief has come off worse.

You make it sound like the police turned up after the 999 call and the first thing they did was question him about his health and guns, when in fact they only enquired about his well being in a follow up call at a later stage. What other report, take the time to read the article in the daily mail. It explains about how the police arrived, took statements, went to the hospital in the ambulance where they asked further questions before mentioning that sometime later they phoned to asked him about his state of mind. As shooters we are rightly miffed when antis cherry pick snippets from articles to further an agenda, but some on here are quite happy to phrase things in order to make events fit their agenda. getthegat
Going off at slight tangent; my landlords brother had his place broken into by the local ***** brigade. Had chain saws and other power tools taken, they got the farm truck which has a two way radio fitted, with a range of 5 - 10 miles and the thieves have been chatting on said radio so are still somewhere close. They were caught fully on CCTV and the police say there is nothing they can do!
