oldypigeonpopper
hello, any PW member who likes to wear the above and keep in good condition i have just tried this stuff LEDER - GRIS military brown water repellent wax oil and 2 old pairs came up very nice, i washed and dryed boots, spread this on and left in the sun to let it absorb into the leather, can do same with hair dryer, new pair of boot laces and some more years wearability😀
humperdingle
I use Aussie Leather Conditioner for my boots... probably much the same in terms of ingredients. It brings up any (real) leather to a lovely even colour and protects. Makes scratches and buffs disappear, too.

old'un
Leather is warm and comfortable but I have never had a pair of leather boots did not let water in once you have been out in them for a couple of hours, apart from some Browning gortex lined ones I had, but even these started leaking after about three years, be interesting to know how well your beeswax and paraffin mix works in the field. samboy
Iv'e been using dubbin on my leather boots and find it good stuff but have been wearing the Harris rubber dry boots for a while now and love them. Would certainly buy another pair when they wear out.
