Cobbers
Hi all, I have my visit from the FEO tomorrow and hoping all goes well, will be buying my first shotgun soon. I have shot, and held both a bettinsoli X-trail and an older Miroku.. both fit well and shot well with, however Advice would be appreciated on which to go for... i am leaning towards the Bettinsoli more as it’s more in my price range ... have anyone had any negative experiences with them? Many thanks
Newbie to this
I have an X-trail and haven't had any problems that wasn't down to me not cleaning properly. Had it not ejecting one of the cartridges properly but a good clean of the ejectors sorted this, it was my fault as I hadn't cleaned them from new. I've put about 5000 through it. The 3 year warranty swang me.

B B
Get an older Miroku its not that there is anything wrong with the betinsoli at its price it is a good buym its just that the Mirokus are very well made they tend to take the years well and good clean used ones are good buys just take your time find the right gun. Scully
Personally I’d go for the Miroku. A truly great tried, tested and proven make.
old'un
Miroku are well engineered and will last a life time if looked after, I own an 800SW sporting/game gun, bought it new in 1976, its had a fair few cartridges put through it and its never missed a beat, its my go-to gun for most things. Wingman
Or an older Beretta something like a 686S but try before you buy to find out what fits you best.

This. You could luck out and get your perfect gun with the Miroku but chances are you'll want to change after 6 months. Or before
