steve_b_wales
I've just taken delivery, and fitted the above to my CBC shotgun. Easy to fit too. I'm looking forward to testing it out asap.
gotgcoalman
was it the £80 or £120 one? Not tried mine with subs yet, although 2 1/2" and 3" mags are considerably quieter with it fitted. The can is more subtle than the 12 ga version 👍

gotgcoalman
yep same here. reading the fitting on the hushpower site the £120 is a straightforward fit. The £80 one might need a lot of "tinkering" The one we both got also comes off easily and can be fitted to a different .410 if needed. Ultrastu
You will need a BIG spanner and a BIG self tightening pipe wrench to fit it on your barrel. If you dont have the above it will come loose and slip down the barrel and come off as you fire . When you first fit it .fire a shot and check for slippage .do this for the first 10 shots or so .until your happy its tight enough .

All sorted now on the B/A 410, and it's a wonderfully quiet gun to use around pheasant pens, etc.
steve_b_wales
I tried the shotgun out this morning and was well impressed. I used 3" magnum cartridges, just to see how good the Hushpower performed, and was very pleased with the results. I realise that less powerful cartridges would be even better. Also checked to make sure it was still tight on the barrel - everything okay.

gotgcoalman
Silencer comes with adapter's to suit 14,15 or 16 mm barrels. Unscrewed the business bit.size difference between the .410 and it's 12 counterpart.
Ultrastu
Good thing is you can slip the mod and collet down the barrel untill about 50 % is now reflex .and its still as quiet as if the mod is right on the end of the barrel. Ps the mod is skinny enough not to change the sight picture significantly

Ultrastu
Same gun and barrel length Obviously the top one is ported The bottom one not .it has about 40 % reflex over the barrel . And is only a touch noiser than the fully modded one @gun and down range 50 yds there is zero difference to be heard

hawkfanz
next question, does anyone know what size barrel a mossy 410 is.
rovercoupe
From what little I know on these things the longer ported barrel silencer is just to slow the round down to reduce the supersonic crack. The silencer part is about the same length on both. I have always wanted to see what's inside one of the screw on mods so I can make one! buze
I still don't know, but what sort of NOISE level do you get with subsonics with that sort of gun? Ie un-modded air-rifle sort of noise? More? less?
